The Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League saw nine former players selected in the 2026 MLB Draft over the weekend. Four of the nine draftees were selected within the first 100 picks, highlighted by former Big Train infielder Chris Hacopian, who became the first CRSCBL alumnus off the board after being selected 11th overall by the Washington Nationals.
Chris Hacopian | 2B | Texas A&M | Big Train 2023
Drafted: Round 1, No. 11 Overall (Washington Nationals)
Hacopian played for the Big Train during the summer of 2023, helping lead them to their 10th CRSCBL championship. He batted .308 with four runs scored, two stolen bases, and a .400 on-base percentage.
After beginning his collegiate career at the University of Maryland, he transferred to Texas A&M for his junior season and quickly developed into one of the nation’s top college hitters.
He tied fellow Big Train alum Nolan Schanuel (11th overall in 2023) for the second-highest draft pick in league history, trailing only former Aces hurler Kyle Zimmer (5th overall in 2012).
Andrew Williamson | OF | UCF | Big Train 2024
Drafted: Competitive Balance Round B, No. 68 Overall (St. Louis Cardinals)
Williamson spent the 2024 summer with Bethesda as the CRSCBL’s most dominant hitter, batting .462 with 49 hits, 16 doubles, nine home runs, 33 RBIs and a league-best 1.452 OPS in 29 games for the Big Train. He also notched 38 runs and stole eight bases en route to league Most Outstanding Hitter honors.
After returning to UCF, Williamson strung together an impressive junior campaign and entered the draft ranked No. 52 on MLB Pipeline’s Top 250 Draft Prospects List. The outfielder was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals with the 68th overall pick.
Brett Renfrow | RHP | Virginia Tech | Big Train 2024-25
Drafted: Competitive Balanced Round B, No. 74 Overall (Minnesota Twins)
Renfrow spent two summers with the Bethesda Big Train, making appearances in both 2024 and 2025. Across his two seasons in Bethesda, the right-hander logged three innings, allowing just one earned run while striking out five batters without issuing a walk. The Virginia native carried that success back to Virginia Tech, where he developed into a top ACC pitcher.
Aiden Robbins | OF | Texas | Giants 2024
Drafted: Round 3, No. 92 Overall (New York Mets)
Robbins suited up for the Gaithersburg Giants during the 2024 CRSCBL season, batting .333 with 34 hits, 10 doubles, five home runs, 27 RBIs, and a .959 on-base percentage in 25 appearances. He also scored 20 runs and stole six bases, establishing himself as one of the league’s top offensive performers before transferring from Seton Hall to Texas for this spring season.

Drafted: Round 7, No. 214 Overall (Boston Red Sox)
Adetuyi became the fifth CRSCBL alumnus selected when the Boston Red Sox chose the left-hander in the seventh round. He was one of the most commanding pitchers for the Big Train in 2025.
In eight appearances, including five starts, Adetuyi posted a league-best 0.31 ERA while obtaining a 5-0 record over 29 innings. The southpaw allowed just one earned run and 12 hits all summer, striking out 32 batters while holding opponents to a .123 batting average. His 9.9 strikeouts per nine innings and 0.828 WHIP helped establish him as a premier arm in the league.
Brayden Martin | INF | Maryland | Cropdusters 2023
Drafted: Round 11, No. 342 Overall (Toronto Blue Jays)
Martin joined the Olney Cropdusters during the 2023 CRSCBL season. At just 17 years old, the Maryland infielder appeared in 20 games, batting .286 with 20 hits, two doubles, a triple, five RBIs, and a .420 on-base percentage. He also scored 23 runs and stole 12 bases while drawing 16 walks.

Griffin Stieg | RHP | Virginia Tech | Big Train 2024
Drafted: Round 13, No. 378 Overall (Pittsburgh Pirates)

Toigo was the final CRSCBL alumnus selected in the 2026 MLB Draft, as the New York Yankees took the Arizona State outfielder with the 608th overall pick in the 20th round.
The nine selections continue the CRSCBL’s tradition of producing professional talent, with former league players making their mark on Major League Baseball organizations.
